PMA Glycol etheracetate has the lowest viscosity in the Product family (1.1 mPa·s at 25 °C) and is a relative fast evaporating glycol ether.
PMA is excellent as Solvent for viscosity reduction in paints and varnishes.
At PMA is replaces the OH group of glycol ether with an acetate group.
This results in both a lower polarity of the molecule and a lower viscosity of the SolutionTherefore is PMA as solvent for urethanes and others.
Proton-sensitive systems of choice PMA is excellent as an active solvent for numerous resins such as acrylic, epoxy, alkyd, polyester and many other resin.
